JB-POWER cast iron floating brake discs are lightweight, have a high friction coefficient, and give the rider precise feedback of the increasing brake force the more he squeezes the lever. And in combination with JB-POWER 6-POT radial-mount caliper not only produce tremendous braking force yet also have an exquisite brake touch with a strong and clear initial bite and delicate control during deceleration.
Nowadays AP-Racing 4-POT calipers are difficult to obtain, however, we can provide setting alternatives for calipers like Brembo, etc.
The AP-Racing CP2696 caliper is made from high-quality cast aluminum and is considered the gold standard for tuning the Kawasaki Z series. It can also be installed on the rear, has an excellent cost-performance ratio, and is still used by many users.
They are made of the same high-friction cast iron as the JB-POWER 6-POT discs and their large φ320 mm diameter promises excessive braking potential. They can not only be used for 4-POT calipers but also 2-POT calipers such as the popular AP-Racing CP2696.
We make caliper brackets with 40mm pitch (AP-Racing, Brembo…) for both JB-KYB φ38 and φ 41 Front Forks to fit your custom project.
It is one of Bito R&D’s values to provide each customer with an individual, most satisfactory long-term product-life solution. Therefore we do not only carry stock of all repair parts for JB-POWER brake systems such as inner rotors, floating pins, etc. but also offer our in-house refresh services like friction rotor facing, inner-rotor re-anodizing, maintenance, and exchange of consumable parts. Additionally, we can offer custom made solutions like inner rotors with different PCD or offset as every tuning project is as individual as it’s the owner, so please feel free to contact us.
Next to having sufficient stopping power when needed the performance of a superior rear brake system consists of various important aspects such as excellent vehicle stability while decelerating or to be able to precisely adjust the deceleration at low riding speeds.
For some motorcycle models, BITO R&D offers rigid caliper brackets that can be attached to a quick change type swing arm. This is a caliper mounting method to prevents the caliper from falling off when changing tires in endurance races and is perfect in combination with smaller brake disc diameters.
The effectiveness of brakes does not improve by simply installing a high-performance caliper, but also requires choosing a matching master cylinder to realize the full potential of the brake system. The AP-RACING 3125 master cylinder’s hydraulic pressure can be adjusted steplessly, allowing for a precise adjustment that gives the rider the best touch possible when squeezing the lever.
BITO R&D does make a sleek, unobtrusive machine aluminum mirror holder for the AP-RACING 3125 master cylinder. It is available in black and silver anodizing and as left as well as right mirror mounting thread versions to accustom various manufactures.
Although the performance of the brake caliper and the master cylinder are crucial good brake hoses are just as important and improve brake touch and longevity compared to most OEM products.
