Succeeding the proud heritage of Honda RCB, called the invincible fleet, the CB1100R made its debut in the competitive endurance race scene in 1981. After its appearance, the CB1100R won countless races and became renowned as the legendary bike that raised the level of the CB series. Conceived under the premise of a motorcycle that was to win races, it was equipped with ART forged piston and an aluminum gasoline tank that had a strong impact, proving that the concept of “Winning – off-the-shelf” was not just a slogan.
However, even in such high-spec machines, BITO R&D finds room for improvement! Our JB KYB φ41mm front fork which replaced the overly taut standard suspension was set to just the right stiffness for sporty yet smooth riding and a combination of JB 6POT calipers and floating 320mm cast-iron brake rotors provide excellent brake touch and a great sense of security. Ultra-light forged magnesium wheels MAGTAN and a JB rear set which was adjusted to the stock handle, create an optimized riding position and comfortably-light, almost dreamlike handling. The engine has been tuned with JB-POWER bore up pistons and special porting and the all-titanium exhaust is substantially lighter by greatly enhanced flow efficiency.
Despite it originally being a famous race homologation model, the JB-POWER CB1100R will tempt you to disregard speed and performance for a while and just slowly “glide” through the corners. However, it turned out to be a profound, extremely potent machine that will let you experience the real pleasure of riding a tuned bike once you turn the throttle.
