Inheriting the beauty of Meguro, the origin of the W series, the W650 debuted in 1999 as a successor of the legendary W1 and W3. The upgrade from pushrods to a bevel gear evolved the beautiful vertical twin, characteristic of the W series, to a sound and mature engine. Since its release, the W650’s orthodox design, doubtlessly embodying the “Beautiful Motorcycle” that Kawasaki aimed for was loved by many people and became a longtime best-seller.
BITO R&D changed front and rear suspensions, brake system, wheels and installed a bore-up piston-kit, FCR carburetor and titanium exhaust to make the light and easy-to-handle W650 a superior, steady and long-lasting companion to the rider. The JB full titanium exhaust not only reduces weight but also gives a boost to the rider’s mood with its spurring, crisp sound.
Thanks to JB Special modification the W650 was reborn as a motorcycle one wants to ride forever, offering not only the pleasure of riding a motorcycle but also the satisfaction of owning and looking at the beautiful shape and the feeling of just wanting to keep it at my side. The JB-POWER W650 reminds the rider of the primordial fun of motorcycles and truly deserves to be called “Back to the Roots”!
