It was created as a new kind of Kawasaki flagship model uniting the highest level of maneuverability with a distinct design doctrine of assertiveness, clearly demonstrating its absolute alterity to other companies. The Kawasaki ZX-10R impressive competitive potential originated in Kawasaki directly adapting their vast knowledge, gained with the ZX-RR MotoGP machine, for the street.
Thanks to its already excellent running, turning and braking capacities only a bare minimum of modifications such as a 6pot brake system, MAGTAN wheels, titanium slip-on exhaust, and variable 4-position rear set, were necessary. The sturdy JB-POWER 6 pot brake caliper paired with cast iron brake discs replaced the too aggressive original brake system, giving the rider outstanding feedback and control and ultra-light forged magnesium wheels MAGTAN decrease gyro forces and improve the handling on winding roads.
With each part giving a sense of quality and control, riders can now fully experience its inherent potential, making our ZX-10R a safe and truly enjoyable sports motorcycle.
