JB-POWER Complete Engine

The JB-POWER Complete Engine is a fully reviewed and redesigned version of an old engine and is not limited to merely replacing consumables or defective parts, but also includes many improved parts, tuning, and enhancements. BITO R&D implements various improvements such as port polishing, valve seat cutting, big valve, and reinforced valve spring installation, transmission dog undercut, full crankshaft overhaul (bearing replacement, pin welding, rebalancing) as well as WPC friction reduction treatment or reinforced can chain tensioner to create a torque, powerful and comfortable engine. Also, it naturally depends on the way of usage, we ensured a high durability level that is on par with the standard engines.

For the very urgent cases, we carry stock of crankshafts that have which have already been overhauled.

Cylinder Upgrade

When overhauling or tuning an engine, it is essential to exchange the cylinder liner and resurface the cylinder top and bottom ends. Additionally, we offer a special o-ring fitting process at the cylinder bottom to prevent oil leakage as well as, in case of the Z1 / Z900 Super Four, recutting the groove-depth for the cam chain tunnel o-ring depending on the resurfacing amount. JB-POWER Cylinder Liners are made of the highest-grade abrasion-resistant cast iron, so you can continue riding for a long time with peace of mind. Depending on your model you can choose between several oversize piston stages by installing a larger cylinder liner.

Cylinder Head Tuning

Cylinder Head Tuning is a very important factor in Engine Tuning as it is closely related to increasing engine performance. By not only widening its ports to BITO R&D’s proprietary shape but also installing JB-POWER high-performance parts such as big valves and reinforced valve springs, the cylinder-head unfolds its true potential especially in combination with displacement upgrades, racing carburetors, and high-flow exhausts systems.

Piston Kit

The JB-POWER Forged Aluminum Piston Kits are manufactured and sold in joint development with world-renowned piston manufacturers such as Cosworth and CP. The piston crown’s shape has been exclusively designed for BITO R&D and creates our recommended compression ratio when combined with a genuine cylinder-head. Strong but lightweight, high rigidity, low wear, outstanding durability, literally world-leading quality pistons.

FCC Heavy Duty Clutch

A good clutch should reliably transmit the high power of the tuned engine to the transmission without slipping, and at the same time, have high wear resistance. If this is achieved solely by harder springs, the clutch operation will become uncomfortably heavy. F.C.C. has established a system that consistently does everything from development, testing to manufacturing as well as a supreme level of engineering and manufacturing technology. Its technical strength and know-how make it possible to create strong but light clutches that are comfortable to operate and can withstand several hundred-thousands of clutch releases.

Transmission Dog Undercut

A transmission which’s dog rings have worn out after many years of use may not only suffer from slipping gears but also cause severe damage to the shift forks up to complete failure. By using its knowledge from countless race activities BITO R&D developed the Transmission Dog Undercut Service, a process where a perfectly aligned reverse taper is machined into the dog pairs so that they firmly bite which prevents the gears from slipping. We can accommodate requests for various usages scenarios from simple refurbishing to races.

Oil Cooler Kit

In the early 80s, we used rubber bands for the superbike race machines that were equipped with an oil cooler. Other mounting methods had durability problems such as cracks due to vibration rendering the unreliable. The rubber band solved that problem in absorbing vibrations moderately and is very reliable. Naturally, the rubber band itself will deteriorate and must be replaced regularly, however, I am delighted to offer this rubber band type oil cooler with its excellent performance and beautiful design to the people who appreciate it and still understand the difference.

Oil Catch Tank

An essential item for those who want the best performance by removing the cleaner box in favor of high flow air funnels when exchanging the carburetor. We offer a great variety like the box-type which is mounted with bolts in a predefined position or the round-type that is fixed with tie wraps, giving great positioning freedom as well as different surface finishes like blast, hairline or polished.

WPC

JB-POWER pistons excel in all areas, lightweight, rigidity, and durability, yet in applying WPC surface treatment friction loss hence power loss is reduced by improved wear resistance. As a result, the power that is available increases. In addition to pistons, this process can be applied to various other parts such as camshafts, IN/EX valves, transmissions…

Although the performance of a tuned engine is paramount, the beauty of the engine is also a very important factor for motorcycles with an exposed engine. Since sandblasting or black powder coating are done in-house, we can not only realize fast delivery times but also guarantee a finish in JB-SPEC’s uncompromising beauty. Additionally, our skilled technicians can weld-repair damaged fins or cracks.
